PLAYER INFOPlayer Name: Anya

Character(s) In-Game: N/A
CHARACTER INFOCharacter Name: Edward 'Eddie' Kaspbrak
Age: 13, born September 3, 1976
Canon:
World Description: "And you can amputate legs and arms. But how do you amputate a waist?"
History: "They´re gazebos! They're bullshit!" + "A clown. Yeah, I saw him, too."
Death: Inside IT's lair during the final confrontation underneath the Neibolt house. Much like Richie, he doesn't make it back from the well.
What are your plans for this character in-game? Making friends that go beyond the small Losers Club back home. He also needs to grow into himself and come to understand his own strengths and bravery that have mostly been smothered by his mother back home. There's also a lot he can learn while also not be defined by his mother's wants and not be restricted to what is possible for a young teen from the 1980s to learn. There's also coming to terms with his "sickness" better and coming to understand his own issues with panic and anxiety more and hopefully better relying on others than turning to his inhaler.
What aspects of this game and/or its setting are you most interested in having this character engage with? Exploration! Also: the darkness pushing down on the world especially if he convinces herself (which could very much happen) that his other friends are somehow lost inside of it which is why he can't find them in this supposed afterlife. I'm also interested in how he might be capable of surviving and helping others through the odd variety of skills he happens to know and also learning more himself.
How does your character generally get along with other people? Not terribly well! Eddie is small with hypochondria and an overbearing mother. He's also loud, opinionated and talks in a manic way that can easily put people off. That said he also has a nurturing side to him that comes from the want to take care of others because of how health conscious he is overall.
What is your character's mental state upon entering the game? Not great in the least. Eddie died in the gray water under Neibolt and currently most of his friends are missing so he has no knowledge if that died like him (and Richie) or if they're trapped by the monster sewer clown. Needless to say, he won't be in the best or most pleased of moods.
Skills/Abilities: Eddie is your normal thirteen-year-old kid from Earth in the 1980s. His only real skills are rock throwing, serious bicycling, first aid and seriously random hardcore healthcare facts. Want to know how many people die every year from coconuts falling on their noggins? Here's your kid.
Flaws/Weaknesses: Eddie is a neurotic hypochondriac with a sharp tongue, manic spells and enough anxiety issues to shake a stick or two at. Because of this he doesn't know how to handle his emotions or issues calmly because everything is usually blown out of proportion in his mind. His fears are all health related with a version of a leper haunting him in both childhood and adulthood.
Personality: Edward 'Eddie' Kasbrak is a neurotic mess of a thirteen-year-old. Because of his overbearing mother constantly hanging over him since a young age, he has grown to become a hypochondriac with a fear of the unknown and anything that might possibly cause him sickness or be 'infected' as it were. Despite hits, Eddie is also brave and loyal especially to the people he calls his friends with the energy to fight tooth and nail for them if needed. It's his loyalty to his friends that have him continuing to return to the sewers and finally venture both into Neibolt and under it in order to find both the truth and save his friends.
Nevertheless, Eddie is also extremely naive. He has a very black and white view of the world and believes most everything he is told even if it comes across as wild to most people. That said, Eddie is also opinionated and frankly blunt for a kid his age. He has a sharp tongue, curses and doesn't stop himself from saying something just because it might hurt someone's feelings. That said, he has a hard time understanding himself and his own feelings and it's because of that that he has these moments of outbursts and hurt emotions on his part.
But, as mentioned, Eddie is still extremely loyal and determined. He manages to stand up to his mother and join his friend even though her control over him and his "sickness" had been so tightly held. When put on the spot, he also isn't afraid to fight as shown with the Bowers' gang and during the final fight in the sewers with IT before his untimely death. Eddie is, at the end of the day, a kid that still has a lot of learning to do which will hopefully flourish now that he is away from both his mother and the hell that is Derry, Maine.
Items: Just the clothes on his back.
